MUKOMUKO:Rice  farmers in the district Lubuk Pinang, Mukomuko district, Bengkulu  province, gradually began to shift to plant palm oil because they do not  drain the rice field irrigation water from the Right Wing.

About  2,300 hectares of rice fields owned by farmers in two villages in this  area that has not drained the water from the Irrigation Right wing,  according to him, including SP VIII Prosperous Village Resources about  1,200 hectares and with an area of nearly the same in the village of  Mulya corn.
He  said most of the land is currently planted with corn commodities, only a  small part to plant palm oil, but gradually they began to plant crops  because it proved suitable in the land that is not running water.

He  said the Right wing of irrigation facilities which are available in the  fields of farmers at this time a new form of primary and secondary  channels, while the tertiary channels have not been built especially  crater.
